Recent technological advancements will provide great opportunities for the improvement in infection control,enhance efficiency and extend skills and capabilities among surgeons and OR nurses.These innovations can be very significant for the surgical team to have safe rendering of appropriate care.But I think before applying and exploring new health care options, we should bear in mind that these technologies must be the best and can provide higher standard of care for the patient.
These new technologies also can improve the overall surgical environment.Thus, the process of giving surgical care is fast,efficient and effective.However,"ORs of the future" in our country is not possible since we have low budget for health care.But i think nurses in our country are skillful and knowledgeable enough to do their jobs.

I agree that being an operating room nurse is a fulfilling career but it requires you to be responsible enough and must have adequate knowledge for any OR procedures.As an OR nurse you must coordinate with the other surgical members like the surgeon and anesthesiologist to have a successful outcomes of the operations.And an OR nurse especially the scrub nurse must perform sterile technique while in an operation to avoid the risk of infection.
Furthermore,an OR nurse has plenty of jobs to be done aside from assisting, documentation must be perform before and after the operation.Because of that,love what you do to achieve fulfillment in life.
